Dedicated to the discoverers!
The unique Jerónimos, architectural masterpiece of the Portuguese Manuelinic, was declared a world cultural heritage in 1983 and is a must for every visitor to Lisbon. Here to find, lushly decorated with filigree craftsmanship, is an impressive monastery church and also the tomb of the famous discoverer Vasco da Gama.
Due to the central location to the train station, metro station and taxi, our old town apartments are ideal locations to easily explore the surrounding area of Lisbon. From a distance you can see the landmark of Lisbon, the Cristo-Rei, whose image is also watched on the Sugar Loaf of Rio de Janeiro. The red bridge Ponte 25. Abril reminds us especially of the nonviolent Revolution of 1974. On the underlying docks you will find many restaurants, trendy discos and bars.
